Attorney Bernadine Layne has been practicing law for over 30 years. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School.

She was born and raised in Massachusetts. She graduated with honors from Northeastern University, Boston, MA, with a degree in political science.  She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, the District of Columbia and Georgia.

Bernadine practiced law with city, state, and federal government agencies before entering private practice.

She has practiced in Georgia since 1988 and has specialized in immigration and personal injury for the last 12 years.  She also specializes in family immigration, business immigration matters and deportation defense.

Bernadine is married to Dr. Edward Layne, the Honorary Consul for Barbados at Atlanta and is active in many Caribbean-American organizations. They have two adult children.
